The Tandem Bicycle (Bicycle Built for 2) was patented in 1889.
This invention was patented by W. Starley and H. S. Owen. An invention that is still popular toady that can be found in bicycle stores worldwide.
I beautifully laser engraved the patent drawing of this strange invention into a 12" x 19" maple wood plaque.
The process requires me to digitally remove a majority of imperfections from the original vintage image and in most cases juxtapose the elements creating a special work.
